Kanae’s voice suddenly gets incorrectly dubbed into English during a family gathering, she must defeat the dub and unmute herself in order to restore the broken relationship with her family.

The idea of being forcefully dubbed in a family anniversary also acts as a censorship to traditional values and cultural identity.  In a time when freedom of speech is threatened and the media is abused, especially with the recently enforced national security law in Hong Kong that affects the freedom of millions of Kongers, a censorship story seems timely.
